For those interested in joining the Pleasant Valley Fire District, stop by the firehouse on Monday nights, between 6:30 pm (18:30 for you fire/military guys). Ask about joining and you’ll be helped in meeting one of our Line Officers and then our House President, who starts the application process.
Let us know what area you’re interested in, such as fire service at Station #1 (Main Street) or Station #2 (Salt Point), the Pleasant Valley Rescue Squad (EMT’s and drivers), Fire Police or the Ladies Auxiliary.
There are few things you can do that are more rewarding than helping your fellow community members both in their more desperate times and in the more light hearted events such as community days, parades of lights, and community fund raisers. There is room for everyone in the Pleasant Valley Fire District so if you’ve ever considered joining we strongly encourage you to reach out and join up!
